Some of the many benefits of joining TMUG
Stay connected with rapidly evolving technology, get free support (and free stuff) and network with TMUG. The Thumb Area Macintosh User Group is the best local resource for Mac users from beginners, recent “switchers” to experts. We’re an educational, not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping you get the most out of your Mac.

Membership in TMUG provides information and support and provides a great way to stay up-to-date on the state of the Mac and the best way to use it with the best tools.

Monthly meetings
Our monthly meetings are a great way to discover new uses for your Mac, gain greater insights and meet some new friends who share interests. TMUG meetings cover a wide range of product and general interest presentations, Q & A sessions and timely information. Our popular raffles include everything from software and hardware to books and other goodies.

Visitors are welcome to attend every third Monday meetings held at 6:30 pm in the Ralph & Betty Wilson Education Center inside Scheurer Hospital (Pigeon).

Free Email (Webmail)
Every member of TMUG will get a free email account. The email can be accessed from a browser or configured with a mail client.

Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
Special Interest Groups (SIGs) focus on more specialized topics, meeting for training, presentations and information exchanges. SIGs can be an invaluable way for TMUG members to interact more closely with others experienced in particular areas in a friendly and casual atmosphere. SIGs include New Users, Internet and Photography.

TMUG's web site is under extensive construction. Bookmark our site for the latest meeting info and group news.

In the near future, we’ll be adding incredible amounts of useful information, from calendars news, reviews, current and past newsletters to discounts, great deals to links to all things Mac on the web.

You’ll need to be a full member to post classified ads or access member discounts from hardware manufacturers, software creators, vendors, stores and other sources.

Electronic newsletter (eNews)
Our electronic newsletter is emailed monthly. It covers the same range of topics as with concentration on timely topics such as Mac events, and discounts. The eNews includes links to topics of Mac interest.

Forum
From fast tech support from knowledgeable members to industry developments to product reports, TMUG's email forum is our private online discussion group. Get expert help. Talk about current Mac issues. Laugh a little. Get notices of upcoming events and discounts.

iMac Lab and Video Conferencing
Imagine having a meeting room with SIXTEEN iMacs connected to the internet and ready to rock! TMUG has this and something other MUG groups don't have....state of the art video conferencing technology. Nothing slanted by the desires of a particular manufacturer, although we are rather partial to the Macintosh. If you have questions, we have the answers.
